Looking for the Irish origins and parents of Thomas Hanley, most likely born between 1820 & 1830 in Ireland (possibly County Roscommon). Thomas married Bridget White in Ireland about 1846, as they had a son, Patrick, born about 1847 in Ireland, according to the 1850 U. S. Federal Census for Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bridget was also born between 1820 & 1830 in Ireland. Thomas, Bridget & Patrick were not listed in the Famine Immigrants' series so they probably did not arrive at the port in New York. They may have landed in Canada first, as passage was less expensive to sail there. However, the Hanley's were living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, by 1850. Any information about the ancestors or descendants of Thomas Hanley and Bridget White would be very much appreciated. I am willing to share what I know about their descendants.
