Hope I'm not too late to give a "shout" for MCDERMOTT. Rose, or Roseann, came to the US between 1847 and 1854, from near Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. She was in New York "for a while", then went to Greene County, Pennsylvania, where she stayed with an uncle, MICHAEL MCGOVERN. She married Henderson Wise in 1859 and lived in Washington County. Do not know the family connection with McGovern, other than he was an uncle. There was another uncle living with them by the name of THOMAS DRUM.
