I am searching for the ancestors and family of WILLIAM HUNTER, b. February 1, 1810 in Graffock, Donegal County, Ireland, son of WILLIAM HUNTER and Unknown, who married SARAH EARLE, b. Sept. 18, 1812 in Muffs, Londonderry, Ireland, (daughter of Unkown EARLE and ANN WILEY) in the Prebyterian Church at Killea on January 25, 1834 by Rev. Hearn. They emigrated to Canada on June 4, 1834 on the sailing vessel "Thomas Gelstone" and arrived in Quebec City on August 16, 1834. They settled in Chinguacousy Twp in Peel County, Ontario Canada in the vicinity of Sarah's maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. ISAAC WILEY. William had a sister, ELIZABETH HUNTER, b. ca 1819, who also emigrated to Canada with her husband JAMES CARSON, b. ca 1810, Ireland. They are recorded in the 1881 Canada census.
