My grandfather, William Rooney, was born June 24, 1877, in County Cork, Ireland & immigrated to the US in about 1896 thru Ellis Island. He settled in the DeKalb-Chicago area and married Catherine Brock on February 6, 1907. Two sisters, Ellen & Rose immigrated later and lived in the Chicago-DeKalb area - one married a John Cummings and the other married Dennis Burns. Mother's maiden name was Kaleher. Would appreciate any information.
