Still trying to find the Irish county of origin for James Pendergast , born 1819 or 1820. He settled in Livingston County, NY, married to Margaret Kelley, born in Inistiogue, Co. Kilkenny. I do not know whether they were married in Ireland or the U.S. There are several other Pendergast lines in the New York State area, but I cannot positively connect James to any of them so far.
