We have had three messages posted from three different parts of the world and I think that might be a good way to have a roll call for the next 24-48 hours. How about everyone, post a short message saying where they are living, anything going on in your area of note (not political), the weather and how they are going to celebrate the holiday. Happy St Patrick's Day from Sacramento CA. Nothing much going on here of any consequence. The weather is getting warmer, dryer and the trees are starting to blossom and little leaves are starting to pop out of the branches. Today I bought my corn beefs, potatoes and cabbages. However, our family will not celebrate until Saturday when many of us will get together for dinner, brown bread and soda bread. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by ZoneAlarm AntiVirus
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all. We celebrated tonight since we can't tomorrow: corned beef, boiled potates and cabbage. Lots of shamrocks hung up around Champaign, Illinois. The weather is nice today. Sunny, warm (mid 50s) and clear. As a child, we always had white carnations tinted green on the edges. We were, and still are, proud to be of Irish descent. Keep an eye out for that leprechaun who knows where the gold is <grin> Patricia
