Pat, I have some cousins with the surname GILCHRIST. My grandmother's sister (Marie K. Masson) married Wesley Carlton Gilchrist (4 Mar 1895-Feb 1964). He was born in Philadelphia, PA. I don't have much information on him: not even parents' names. According to census info his father was born in Scotland, his mother Wales.
