Just don't think of it as an "emergency" email address. If you have more than one email address (I have AOL and Yahoo and Earthlink) then give them an ALTERNATE address that can be used in case your emails cannot be delivered to you for some unforeseen reason (ie, you drop your current ISP and get a new primary email address, Lost Cousins can send future emails to the ALTERNATE address) Do not give Lost Cousins the email address of some other person. If you only have ONE ISP (Internet Service Provider) then you do not have an alternate (emergency) address to give. Remember that although we speak English in both the USA and the UK, some words can have slightly different meanings or uses.
