    1. Re: [IRELAND-ROLL-CALLS] SURNAMES of Castlebar
    2. Virginia, how come there's no Hopkins from Derrylahan listed? Just kidding. My paternal grandmother, Honor Hopkins, was from Derrylahan. It's so unusual to see that townland listed that I felt I had to make a comment. My paternal grandfather, Michael Hopkins, was from Crimlin/Crumlin which was a townland adjacent to Derrylahan. My grandparents were cousins. His mother was Mary Kearney. I have seen it also written as Carney. Nora Hopkins FitzGerald HOPKINS/BLAINE/JENNINGS/CUNNINGHAM/MCMYLER from Crimlin, Derrylahan and Commauns townlands in Mayo In a message dated 2/10/2007 8:11:22 P.M.
