Lawrence Mitchell b. abt 1832 somewhere in Galway. I have been searching for the last 10yrs for the Townland, Civil Parish, PLU and Barony from whence Lawrence immigrated. Lawrence had 2 brothers John and Michael. All settled in Kingston Ulster County NY. Judy Christopher

Hi Judy, Sorry, I missed you telling me that there was a John and a Michael MITCHELL. The GV's show that there were three John's in the Parish of Ballynakill in the Townlands of Knockauncarragh, Clonco and Oghilly, and for Michael just one in Ballynakill in Gorteen. The Parish of Ballynakill is therefore common to the three names, so that may be an indication for you.
