Still searching for Edmond Quirk b. Ireland May 1835...have never found the area in Ireland and his wife Hannorah Ann Dohney/Downey b. abt the same year in Ireland. The 1900 census tells me that they naturalized but cannot find a record of it. They had five children...James b. 1862, Daniel b. 1860, Wm b. 1863 and Mary Ann b. 1866...don't know the name of the fifth child...think, it might have been John? John McCabe b. 1854 in Ireland and died in St. Louis , MO....in 1893. He is very elusive , too! I know where these people are buried ...have them in the census records but, cannot find them prior to 1860 in St Louis (Quirks) and the McCabes...find John in the 1870 census but, not prior and not on ships or naturalization records. Help!
