Researching g.grandfather Patrick Darcy, b. circa 1800, place of birth in Ireland unknown. Was father of John Darcy, b. 1828 in Co Clare who left Ireland abt 1850 and got married in Canada in 1853. Patrick's wife was listed by French clergy in Canada as Helen Megouin, a surname which does not exist. It is thought her name was possibly Ellen McGowan. Looking for any info on Patrick and any other children he may have had.
