Hi Fran, Regarding the Hanleys from Roscommon! This is a long shot but I will mention it anyway. My daughter-in-law's maiden name was Hanley, she was born and grew up in Michigan. Her dad had mentioned that their ancestors came from Roscommon but he didn't know much beyond that of their family history. Her dad is now 83, I believe it was his grandfather who emigrated. Do you have more info on your Hanley branch? Her dad has siblings that are living and may know more about their roots than he does. Happy Hunting!
