    3. Hi, Mary, I'm waiting for results of the DNA test on my husband's Kinsella cousin. We don't know where they came from yet in Ireland, but hope some more Kinsella's will do the testing. I have been told that Co. Wexford had about 20 John Kinsella's in the time frame we need to search, but that was before I knew the name of John's father (Nicholas). Here's what we have so far: Nicholas Kinsella married Catherine (Unknown last name) in England or Ireland abt 1856. He was b abt 1828 Ireland, d 1894, Wavertree, Lancashire, England, and she was b abt 1834 Ireland, but all their children were born in England. Ch: John b abt 1858, Catherine b abt 1864, Elizabeth b abt 1866, Joseph b abt 1869, Margaret b abt 1872, and Mary A. b abt 1874; the first 3 b Liverpool, the last 3 b Wavertree, Lancashire, England. I found the family in the 1881 census of England. My husband is a descendant of John Kinsella who emigrated to Scranton, PA, thru New York per his naturalization record. However, his age varies on the different census records (doesn't stay 10 years apart) in the U.S. Also, we believe he used a different emigration year on the application for citizenship, to make him under 18 years old upon arrival, when in actuallity he was older than than when he came to America. Let me know if you think we may find a common ancestor.
