I am researching John McCabe b. Ireland in 1854 according to death records. He was in St. Louis Mo by 1870 and married about 1880 to Ellen? They had four children ....John b. 1887 , Arthur b. 1885 one daughter Mary Ellen b. about 1890. The children were all born in St. Louis but, I cannot find the fourth child born to them. Ellen remarried a man by the name of John Isreal/Israil by 1895. John Israel had two sons by a previous wife named John and Bernard. I am also, looking for Edmond Quirk born 1835 Ireland and married Hannorah Ann Dohney, she was born in Ireland in 1835, the 1900 census gives there time in the U.S.A. as 46 years...but, I cannot find any naturalization records for them. They had five children but, I am aware of only three...Daniel b. 1860 and died 1882, William born 1858/1866 and died in 1908 at the age of 50...so, his birth date is very much in question and a sister Mary Ann b. 1866 and died 1891 all in St. Louis MO and buried in Calvary Cemetery with Edmond and Ann. I don't know the area of Ireland that these people came from and have tried every avenue to track their travels but to no avail. Thanks so much! Pat
