    3. Cal, Thanks for your reply. The names Ellen and Catherine also occur in my Mescall branch of the family. My Ggm was named Catherine Mescall (I had misidentified her as my GGgm), and she had a sister named Ellen. And Dennis and David were common on the male side. They were from the Civil Parish of Kilpatrick in the Tracton area of SW Cork, about 10 miles south of Cork City.
