I too got the same message when i tried - perhaps we have overloaded the site !!! "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - Albert Einstein

The Ireland GenWeb County Tipperary website has been updated. The following civil parish webpages have either been added or updated: Latteragh, Glenkeen, Thurles, Rathlynin, Rellickmurry & Athassel, Cullen, Emly, Templederry, Tipperary, and Solloghod-more. Each page includes a map with all the townlands delineated, available Family History Library films, link plus links to all the townland pages in the civil parish. There were 81 new townland pages added (too many to name in this email), plus new pictures and many records, including Tipperary born found in the 1860 & 1870 USA Federal censuses and Ontario, CAN marriages, new tithe applotments, and church records for the following surnames: Fant, Burke, Kiely, and Quinn. You can find the website at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~irltip/tipperary.htm Please send comments, corrections and/or contributions to me off the list. Corrections are important because I do make mistakes, like putting civil parish maps on the wrong pages. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

Hi Bob, To be honest I am not certain. There was a whisper that it may have been Ennis. My great grandparents were John & Hanora(nee CONOLE)McNAMARA. Their children were Michael(My grandfather), Patrick,Ellen,Margaret,Ann,& Susan. All of the children emigrated to NZ via Australia. We think there may have been another son who stayed in Ireland to help on the farm. Hello, I have McKennas in Ireland. Specifically Edward and Michael, brothers who were both Catholic priests. They were born in Greencastle, Donegal but Edward, born 1826, was the parish priest in Cumber Claudy, Derry. This McKenna family is somehow connected to my Galbraith and Campbells lines in Northern Ireland.
