I'm looking for the ancestors of Michael Shannon son of Patrick Shannon and Margaret Foran. He was born c.1798 and emigrated to Jacquet River New Brunswick about 1822. He married Marie Cormier in 1827. I am interested in finding either paternal Shannon or maternal Foran side. _________________________________________________________________ R U Ready for Windows Live Messenger Beta 8.5? HB Herald, Mon. June 25, 1894 FARRELL - At Macdonald-street, Napier, on the 24th of June, 1894, John FARRELL, late of the Irish Constabulary, aged 73.
Today I put the following civil parishes online: Ballygriffin, Donohill, Glenbane, Kilcornan, Killardry, Oughterleague and Rathlynin. Links to them can be found on the County Tipperary section of my website. Please do NOT use my transcriptions as source documents. Many of the original tithes are extremely difficult to read. Therefore, please go to the document yourself to check before using as a source document for your research. I have about 30 more to get online but not much time until I get home at the end of the month. When I find time, I will get a civil parish online but may not have time to post to the lists, so check my website for updates. Eventually, I will have all of the Clanwilliam Barony, all of the Lower Kilnamanagh Barony and some baronies in Limerick (Owneybeg, Coonagh) plus others that I find on the same film. -- Pat Connors, visiting Salt Lake City UT http://www.connorsgenealogy.com

Patrick Egan married Mary Cunningham in Kilkenny City in 1857. They lived on Walkin St. Patrick and Mary had three children, all of whom were born in Kilkenny City. They were Bridget (1858), Mary (1860) and William (1863). The family emigrated to Lewiston Maine in about 1869. Both Patrick and Mary died in Lewiston in 1874. Their son William, who was my wife's grandfather, went to Newport Rhode Island as an orphan to live with his step-sister. Mary Cunningham had previously been married to John Smyth. They were married in Kilkenny City, lived on Walkin St. and had four children including Catherine (1849), Patrick (1852), Ellen and Elizabeth (1854). The three girls emigrated to Lewiston Maine with Mary and her second husband, Patrick Egan. Eventually, after their mother and step-father's deaths, Catherine and Elizabether moved to Newport Rhode Island. Ellen remained in Lewiston, Maine. Hi I know Isaac Shee married a girl from Oxfordshire in the parish of St Martins in the Field, Westminster, London. I have this info from the banns of his wife's parish her name is Jane Slingo. Also the IGI has the marriage listed as an extracted entry. He seems to have died between 1834 and 1838. They had a son in 1834 and Jane remarried in Oxfordshire in 1838. Isaac must have died between these dates. Isaac's son George Henry emigrated to Canada and in the 1881 Canadian census is listed as from Irish descent, leading me to believe Isaac may have come from Ireland. Cannot find Isaac's death or birth. If anyone has come across an Isaac Shee who may be my Isaac I would very much appreciate hearing from you. Born approx. 1800 died between 1834 and 1838. Or even where the Shee's were mostly based late 1700 early 1800's in Ireland. Thankyou Caroline
