    3. From the new website: From October 1831 through October 1921, the Boston Pilot newspaper printed a “Missing Friends” column with advertisements from people looking for “lost” friends and relatives who had emigrated from Ireland to the United States. This extraordinary collection of more than 31,438 records is available here as a searchable online database, which contains a text record for each ad that appeared in the Pilot. http://infowanted.bc.edu/ This new site just went up today and it is very easy to search on....what a wonderful St Patrick's Day gift to us family researchers! -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by ZoneAlarm AntiVirus

Look under the civil parish of Ballingarry, and you will find a townland called Ballynahaha. Remember spellings and boundaries change over time but I would guess with confidence that this is the townland and civil parish that you are citing in the address. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by ZoneAlarm AntiVirus

    2. Greetings and best wishes from the golf capital of the US, Myrtle Beach, SC. Will take time off from golf today to celebrate the Irish National Holiday. Big decision of the day: whether to go to Shamrock's, Finn McCool's, Murphey's, or Blarney Stone's, or better yet all four. Enjoy. 3. Hi All, Happy St. Patrick's! Such a surprise to discover 44 messages when I expected only one or two! Victoria is back to normal after a week or so of warm and welcoming sunshine. Blossoms are everywhere. I've given my fish ponds their spring cleaning and repotted all the herbs. This is a special St. Patrick's for us because we are in the throes of planning a 6 week trip to Ireland where I hope to visit the seat of my ancestors in Killaloe and Cork. -- DAVE FOSTER Victoria BC [email protected] http://members.shaw.ca/davesfamily/

    3. Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you wonderful Irish folks around the globe. I am writing this on a sunny morning in Roseville Minnesota. The grandchildren don't know it yet, but they are going to be spirited (by me) to all the Irish family festivities in downtown St. Paul. Not our fault the schools don't know this is an official holyday/holiday! The party at our house will be on Saturday....to come you must bring a story, a song or a poem to share ...we sing...we eat...share our love for one another....and of course there is a wee bit of Guinness there too.
