Dated November 22,1932; Michael Dailey Taken by Death Sioux Falls Resident Dies After Illness of Five Years�Rites Friday Michael Dailey, 86 years old, of 610 North Walts ave., died at his home today. He had been ill for four or five years. The body was taken to the Barnett Funeral chapel pending arrangements for funeral services. Mr. Dailey is survived by the widow, Mrs. Mary Dailey: two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Wallace of Lorain, O., and Mary Dailey of Sioux Falls; five sons: Charles Dailey of Vienna: John Dailey of Huron: Patrick Dailey of Willmar, Minn.; Michael Dailey of Sioux Falls; and Harry Dailey of Camden, N.J. and 12 grandchildren. A son and two daughters preceded him in death. Funeral services for Mr. Dailey will be held at 8:30 o�clock Friday morning at St. Joseph�s cathedral, with burial in the family lot in the local Catholic cemetery. Mr. Dailey was born in County Cork, Ireland, and was married at Skibbreen, Ireland in 1872. Dated Tuesday June 25, 2935 Mrs. Mary Dailey Is Taken by Death Resident Here 35 Years Dies at Her Home- Sustained Hip Fracture Mrs. Mary Minehane Dailey, 92 years old, 610 North Walts ave., native of Ireland and resident of Sioux Falls 35 years died at her home Monday night. Mrs. Dailey had enjoyed perfect health during her long life until 14 weeks ago when she fell and fractured her right hip. She was born at Skibbreen, county Cork, Ireland, April 12, 1843, and remained in her native land until after her marriage to Michael Dailey in 1862. Nine children were born to this union, four of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are: Charles, Vienna; Mrs. Ellen Wallace, Lorraine, Ohio; John, Huron; Patrick, Willmar, Minn., and Mary, who lives in Sioux Falls. An adopted child, Harry Dailey, resides at Camden, N.J. Her husband died in 1932. Mrs. Dailey came to the United States in 1891, about four years after her husband came to this country. Mr. Dailey was a farmer and followed that vocation in Kingsbury, Miner and Clark counties until partial blindness compelled his retirement. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at St. Joseph�s cathedral, which Mrs. Dailey attended for the past 35 years. Burial will be in the family lot in the local Catholic cemetery, beside the graves of her husband and a son, Michael, who died in 1932.
