    3. Cindy, Again I understand what you are saying, but I still feel we all need to have more compassion for each other. None of us are perfect, and all of us make mistakes. It also tends to become bothersome when as soon as someone makes any kind of mistakes others are extremely quick to point it out. You are correct, we could write to the person directly, but so could all of the perfectionists who jump on the one who makes the mistake. Instead of letting the entire list know your displeasure, why not just privately write to the person and ask them to not do whatever it is that makes you unhappy? I'm finished with this subject now. Except Monica, this is a fairly specific list, reserved for obits and wills. You can go to the more generalized lists, like Limerick, Tipperary, etc, which are available for such a purpose as you describe. Alternatively, you can email the person off list to ask for lookups directly. Quite honestly, I am like James and Dennis--I come to this list to look at the obits, I use the county specific lists for the other stuff. Lately, I've looked at the subject line and simply deleted this list, rather than waste my time on something that is so VERY limited in scope as Dennis has pointed out.
