Hi Van, I am no expert I promise! The url I sent takes you to pages that have been transcribed by some very generous people for the benefit of us researchers. Thank you to them! I did a google search just now and as far as I can tell it was definitely recording the lives of Liverpool folk in 1833 and maybe as early as 1800. I am not sure where you are based but if we are looking for something in the UK we try a google search and scroll through the results. I have just done that and got 13 hits. You can also try putting in the name of your relative and often you can be very lucky and find some details.... Try this http://www.mersey-gateway.org/ The Liverpool Mercury information is there. As far as I know if you email refbt.central.library@liverpool.gov.uk they will do one search free of charge or they did some time ago when I made an enquiry. Other listers will correct me if I am wrong.
