Hello out there, I am hoping that someone out there can help me find the burial/death information/obit of my great grandfather DANIEL QUIRK. He is buried somewhere in County Down, was catholic, and originally from Carlow. I believe he died sometime in 1896 or 97. DANIEL QUIRK returned to Ireland sometime in 1896 or 97 for a visit with family members. Upon landing he became ill and died about three weeks later. He was buried in County Down. He was accompanied by his son James Patrick and his wife Julia. I know that is not much information but it is all that I have. A little background information on DANIEL QUIRK is that he immigrated to the U.S. about 1850 out of County Cork. He married Mary Battle and they had 10 children. Catherine, Michael, James, Mary, Margaret Edward, Ellen, Katherine Celia and one that I have not found as yet. If they followed the Irish naming patterns, DANIEL'S father might have been MICHAEL QUIRK. I appreciate any help you can provide. I do not know where else I can turn to for help. Regards Charlotte Schulz
