My ancestor left Ireland approx. 1820. He was William Shaw, b. 1786, Diocese of Ossary (prob. Kilkenny) and his wife Mary Waldron, b. 1790, Diocese of Ossary. Their three children, Susanna, Robert & Thomas, who all died in Canada said they were born in Co Wexford.
