Hello Cara, thank you for the websites that you included in your e-mail. I should have included in my message that my Anderson's were Presbyterian in their faith. My ggrandfather (I made a mistake in my original posting) Aaron Anderson was a farmer at Spittle Hill and his eleven children from two wives were born there between 1847 and 1872, as far as I am able to make out, all of his children emigrated from Ireland to USA and New Zealand. Aaron died on 17 May 1896, aged 80 or 82 years, with at least one son in attendance, his wife, Martha, having predeceased him. Kind regards, Jimmy > Cara wrote > >Whilst doing a search for graveyards for Aghadowey Parish Derry >I came across these web sites with MI for the area so thought they may be of >use to others >researching the same area for their ancestors >and I thank those people who have so willingly placed these headstones for >others to find >I am also not linked to these sites in any way >For Jim I suggest perhaps you locate the Church website for the area and as >I do not know what faith >I did not look for churches but most have a emailing address on them >another suggestion is to email local libraries in the area sometimes they >have a listing of stones- most books that have transcribed stones in them >are usually sold in the local area .......... > >Cara > >http://www.geocities.com/heartland/ranch/5632/bv/aghadowey_parish_graves.html > > >http://www.nireland.com/gavinbamford/aqwn04.htm > >http://www.4qd.org/bann/church/AghadoweyPresby/Graves.html > > >http://www.historyfromheadstones.com/index.php?londonderry&denomination=CI >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Jimmy Anderson" <jimmy-a@xtra.co.nz> >To: <IRELAND-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> >Sent: Friday, November 04, 2005 2:30 PM >Subject: [IRL-CEMETERIES] Cemeteries in Aghadowey Parish > > > > >> Hello Listers, >> >> can anyone give me the names of cemeteries in the Aghadowey Parish in >> County Derry.
