And, may I add one more to that important list: Surname: EDWARDS Christian name: MARY (nee STAFFORD) Period: 1843 - 1860 Location: Townland of Bargy Commons or Forth Commons, Co. Wexford. For the list, too, in the event someone out there recognizes this name and has any information about this fine lass, my ggg-grandmother. MARY STAFFORD wed JAMES EDWARDS in Piercestown, Co. Wexford in 1829. Beginning in 1830 they had Patrick, Catherine, Mary, John and, finally in 1843, another John. Husband JAMES and children: Patrick, Catherine, Mary and the second John (presume the first John died young) are all found in Chicago beginning in the late 1850's and early 1860's. Nothing about wife, MARY STAFFORD EDWARDS. Presume she died sometime between the birth of the last John (baptized in Kilmacree, Co. Wexford) and when the rest of the family emigrated to the USA.
