Hi Cara This is what I know about the McGuire family I'm looking for in County Leitrim McGuire, John - buried Cty Leitrim wife unknown Sons: McGuire, John born Dec 23, 1821 in Cty Leitrim McGuire, (brother) McGuire, (brother) There may be more family, but we know that two of the boys went on one ship and John went on another and they were supposed to meet up in the "new world". This never happened, so it is assumed that they were lost at sea. John had to have immigrated in 1840 or 1841 -- and settled in Rawdon, Province of Quebec, Canada. In 1841 or 1842 he married Hester Bowen (?) in Rawdon (Hester was born in Kings County, Ireland in 1824) They immigrated to Minnesota, USA and were buried in Sauk Center, MN - John in 1889 and Hester in 1890. The father, John and his family, are our brick wall in family genealogy. Any help you can offer will be HUGELY appreciated. Patsy McGuire Holland
