CRANAREEN CO WICKLOW 1- This stone was erected by James Sheil of the City of Dublin, in memory of his father James Sheil who departed this life March 15th 1802 aged 62 years also his brother Michael Sheil who died Feb 14th aged 21 years also Catharine, Maryanne and John and their mother Bridget Sheil ? 24th 1811 aged 71 ( no year for Michael) 2-Erected by John Sheil of Rathdangan in memory of his beloved father Michael Sheil who died June 15th 1814 aged 30 years also his daughter Bridget Sheil who died March 12th 1858 aged 17 years and also his mother Bridget Xheil who died June 12th 1871 aged 87 years. 3- Erected by Thomas Sheil in memory of his father Matthew SHeil who departed this life October 31st 1798 aged 49 years 4- Erected by Thomas Sheil in memory of his beloved father John Sheil who depd. the 4th Nov 1822 aged 67 years also his mother Mary Sheil who depd the 13th Dec 1835 aged 80 years also fo the said Thoams Sheil died the 1st May 1850 aged 70 years and hsi son Mathew Died March 1860 aged 50 years and Ellen Sheil? died 1st Dec 1866 aged 60 yrs and his grandson James Sheil died 3rd March 1901 aged 50 years KNOCKANANNA CO WICKLOW IRELAND UNDER THE Spelling of SHEEL SHEEL/DEEGAN 1a ' Erected by Thomas Deegan of Carrignamuck in memory of his beloved Uncle Thomas Sheel who depd this life 19th June 1863 aged 80 years, also the above Thomas Deegan who died 5th may 1889 aged 65 yrs. 2b Erected by John Sheil of Slenamore in memory of his son Michael Sheil who depd this life the 12th July 1858 aged 26 years also the above named John SHeil who departed this life on the 2nd February 1866 aged 57 years also his son Thomas Sheil depd this life August the 14th 1870 aged 27 years and his wife Elizabeth Sheil died 2nd Feb 1874 aged 70 years and their Grandson John Donohoe Rathshanmore died 24th March 1895 aged 13 years Bridget Donohoe died 16th July 1928 aged 81 years BURIAL Jane Sheil was buried at Monkstown Dublin on the 26th August 1795 Cheers Cara ©Cara_Links Researching Co.Wicklow,Wexford.
