Hi, I was wondering where people from Shankill & Seagoe would be buried, and if there would be records or monuments inscriptions online??? Looking for my rellies from these areas:- IRWIN MCKINLEY MCNEICE Thanks Karen in Australia
Hello Karen Firstly, sorry for not getting back sooner but things have been a bit hectic here what with new ceiling in my bedroom which involved me having to completely empty it and put it into my daugthers bedroom!!! We camped out on the settee for 4 days - it was novel for the first two then the novelty wore off. Oops waffling again, sorry. I have checked my CD and here is the information I have for Shankhill Graveyard Belfast for the surnames you list. I just want to say though that you mention Shankhill and Seagoe in Craigavon but these aren't actually in Belfast. Shankhill Road (where the Shankhill graveyard is) is in Belfast though. Shankhill Graveyard Belfast Erected by Isabel Irwin in memory of her beloved husband John Irwin who departed this life on the (..) Oct 183(??) aged 46 years. Also the above Isabel Irwin who departed this life on the 15 Jan 1859 aged 68 years. Erected by ... Irwin... beloved husband ... Irwin. In loving memory of Jane Irwin died 16 Nov 1924. "Rejoice with me for I have found my sheep which was lost". John Irwin, Belfast. Sacred to conjugal and parental affection. Below repose in kindred dust the ashes of Ann Irwin, wife of James Irwin, who died 12 Dec 1832 aged 48 years. Also the remains of their much lamented daughter Eliza who died 12 Mar 1833 aged 17 years. Here also are deposited the remains of the above named James Irwin who departed this life 23 Jun 1836 aged 65 years. Jane McNeice, of 182 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast, died 20 Apr 1904. None for McKinley. regards Carol Barber Freecen Co-ordinator for Yorkshire, Durham and Westmorland http://freecen.rootsweb.com > Hi, > I was wondering where people from Shankill & Seagoe would be buried, and > if > there would be records or monuments inscriptions online??? > > Looking for my rellies from these areas:- > IRWIN > MCKINLEY > MCNEICE > > Thanks > Karen in Australia > > > ==== IRELAND-CEMETERIES Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe, send a new e-mail with just the word - unsubscribe - in > the body of the message to ~ IRELAND-CEMETERIES-L-request@rootsweb.com > Substitute -L- with -D- if in 'Digest' mode. >
