Hi Pam, As far as I know, or as the story goes in my family. One cousin claims they came from Roscommon another one claims Antrim. My part of the family settled in New York. James Craven born abt/1835 married Katharine Ryan???Had eight children,,Two born England John and James, then Michael,Nicholas,William,Mary,Peter(my grandfather, b/01/01/1880) and I think a Thomas. All raised in Brooklyn, NY. Story is James went back to Ireland to die as he was quite ill. His wife, known as Katie or Kitty stayed here. Any possible connection?
