Hi Muriel: My ggrandfather and ggrandmother died around the early 1900s and, if I remember correctly my grandfather said they were buried in Maralin Cemetery. They lived in Belfast so I assume that is where they are buried. As I am now the matriarch of the family there is no one to ask all the questions I have . My grandfather was Samuel Carberry but on his birth certificate it says Samuel Cabrey. His dad was John Cabrey (or Carberry) and his mother Margaret (nee Hanna). I don't know if they changed their name or if it was incorrect on the birth certificate. Samuel Carberry moved to Winnipeg, Canada in about 1908 but I know John and Margaret lived and died in Belfast. Thanks. Hi, Please can you help me. I too have hit a brick wall. Any chance of a look-up? I am looking for my Great Grandmother Eliza McVeigh(McVea). I know that she was alive late 1920's. Eliza lived in Lisburn and was not a catholic. Eliza had worked at Hilden Mill, but that is all I know. Any help you maybe able to give would be appreciated as I am disabled and cannot travel. Thank you for your time. If you can be of help, please E-mail me at Earnshwfamily@btinternet.com Thanking you, Valerie -----Original Message----- From: Mhfitz101@aol.com [mailto:Mhfitz101@aol.com] Sent: 09 March 2006 06:06 To: IRELAND-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [IRL-CEMETERIES] Belfast Cemeteries Doreen, There are four volumes out on Gravestone Inscriptions in Belfast.
