Hi all, There is an old Irish cemetery here in the states that I have come across. I is in the woods. the towns people really don't take care off, it there is just to much work to be done to it . the graves date back to the late 1700's but most in the mid to late 1800's and in 1900's. The stones need to be cleaned and the ground also need major cleaning. I hate to see it looking like it does. I was not there that long but I do know that they do have some records and I am going to try to get my little fingers on them as soon as I can. just give me time . It looks like there is know family to the families in the graves there, this is why it looks like it does so any work that is done is all volunteers. if anyone has any ideas on how to clean the grounds and the stones. please send ASAP I am gong to try to get back next week end. it is about a two hours drive. wow what a day. Maybe I can do a fundraiser to get the money to get they stuff we will need to get the job done. The ground! is covered in ivy and all over the stones so you miss half off them. they old iron gates around some of the families. If it was all cleaned up I bet that would be a beautiful places.
