    3. Bob, Couldn't help but respond to your post. I don't have any answers for you, but questions. I'm also researching ancestors from Ireland who settled in central New York. This is probably a long shot, but I won't know if I don't ask. My great-grandfather was Michael McGraw - not sure what part of Ireland he came from. I have a copy of his obituary from a Syracuse newspaper in 1915 showing that he had one sister, a Mrs. John Ryan. Were any of the siblings who came to the US named John? Does any of this sound familiar?
