I have records indicating the deaths of several people with a surname FELKINS ( My ancestors) in PASSAGE WEST co. Cork. They were all Catholic and children and adults died in the last half of the 1800s. I visited the town and tramped both the cemetery up on the hill and the new cemetery at the bottom of the hill. I saw no headstones with that name. I have queried the church there and received several baptismal certificates but no death records. The father of the children and his father were master mariners and in the case of the death of several children was listed as the informant on the death certificate. Is there a logical place to investigate next.
