I managed to get a picture of the are a on the internet but I am still in the "dark" as to whre it is. Also another area was mentioned in the letter GLENDRAUGH. Where is this place. I have a name of the family that lived in this place JAMES DALTON he married Margaret K KIELY who is/ was the daughter of the person who is buried at KNOCKANURE. Dear Elaine in Melbourne I might be able to help. And there might be a connection to my Kielys. On the Ordinance survey Map #81 of County Waterford and Cork, Knockanore is slightly SW of where the Blackwater River meets the Bride River. There is a church and small cemerery in Knockanore. I took a picture of it in July while ther searching for my ancestors. There is also a very small cemerery in Kilcockan with a mausoleum with the Kiely's name on it. I couldn't get in too far to read the headstones because it was so overgrown. IIf you can receive it I can scan and send pictures of the cemeteries and a portion of the map.to you.
