I am looking for my BATEMAN, SHORTEN AND QUARRY ancestors, all of whom I understand were from Cork. My BATEMAN ancestors were from Woodfield, Clonakilty, though may have also been in Kilgarriff Parish. I believe they were Protestant though may have converted from Catholicism sometime prior to 1800. The SHORTENS were from Macroom. Though I have just found several Shortens bearing the correct names on Griffiths Valuation in Kinneagh Parish and do not know if it is near Macroom. The QUARRY's I know only were from Cork. I am interested in tracking down burial information and also wonder if the information from various cemeteries in the area might have been published.
