I am looking for the graves of my great great grandparents in County Cork Ire? I will give the information below from their death Cert. Name: Mary O'Neill Date Of Death: 21 June 1883 Place of death: Knocks, Desert Serges Condition: Married Age: 47 Occupation: Wife of Cornelius O'Neill a farmer Mary's maiden name was Hegarty she may have been born in Ardfield County Cork? Still looking for that peice of the puzzle. Name: Cornelius O'Neill Date of Death: 15 June 1902 Condition: Widower Age: 60 Occupation: Farmer I belive Cornelius O'Neill's age to be wrong that it should be 67. I am also looking for the grave of their son Patrick O'Neill Who was killed by lighting 11 July 1893 . The newspaper article I have from The Examiner says that "The funerals of the men, Patrick Neill and Patrick Sullivan , killed on the occasion, took place yesterday: the former was interred at Desert and the later at kilnagross (not sure of spelling , faint ) I think the O'Neill may be buried Parish: Desertserges in County Cork since that is where they were from. I was in Ire. once and I did go to this Parish and I do know unless you knew where a paticular grave was their may be no hope of finding it. I did not search for it because at that time I did not have this information. I have also heard that their are no burial records for Desertserges. If I am wrong on this please correct me?
