Rusty, my gggrandmother was named Margaret mcgiveny and I believe they are from county cavan in annagelliffe according to a listing I found in the 1821 Ireland census. In that census there are quite a few mcgiveny families and a few olvaney families. that is all i have. they came to Newark n.j. around 1850. Kevin
