Great Idea for a New Roll Call, Dave... I'm chasing O'HAGANs from Cty. Derry. My info is that Charles O'HAGAN - b. May 1808 in Cty. Derry and (according to family lore) "raised on the home farm", which I take to mean that the family did NOT live in Londonderry City; emigrated in 1841 through Philadelphia, PA, USA; married Susan MURRY (MURRAY?) HIGGINS in Philadelphia, and shortly after settled in Cambria County, PA, where he worked on the Portage Railroad. Susan (also b. 1808 in Cty. Derry) was a widow with 2 daughters - have no info on her 1st marriage or the death of Mr. Higgins, nor any on Charles' family. Charles and Susan had 5 children together. Charles died in the 1890s and is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Gallitzin, PA, USA. All family history points to Cty. Derry origins, but I'm told that the O'HAGAN name was more prominent across the county line in Cty. Tyrone....so ANY info or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Kelly O'Hagan Rosendale __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Send your FREE holiday greetings online! http://greetings.yahoo.com
