Hello all I'm new to this list and have just started tracing my family history as anyone come across the surname Slavin/Slevin in your travels Thanks Dave Slavin
Greetings everyone. I am new to the list and am searching for the cemetery in which my g.g.grandparents, John and Martha Cooper, were buried, and hopefully for a record of their death and tombstone inscription. They were married in 1805 and, for the first quarter of the 19th century, farmed in the Emo area of Queen's [Laois] Co..However, there is no record of their death in Coolbanagher parish of the Church of Ireland, nor in any of the existing registers of nearby parishes.I can only assume that John and Martha moved from the area of Emo sometime after 1822, when the birth of their youngest child was recorded. Does anyone know of the location of any cemeteries or graveyards in Parteen, County Clare? Both Roman Catholic and Church of Ireland.
Hi to all listers, Could anyone tell me exactly how I would go about finding out if my LUDDY ancestors could possibly be buried in Templetenny Cemetery just outside of Ballyporeen village? I'm specifically looking for a Maurice LUDDY and his wife, Mary Riordan, and possibly a John LUDDY too. I know Maurice and his wife both died in Ireland; and John died enroute to visit his ailing father in 1922, so he might possibly be buried there also. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Hi - I'm new to this list, and didn't sign on until after my recent trip to Ireland or I would have jotted down more information from the cemeteries we visited. My cousins and I had only one day (pouring rain) to do this, so we were only interested in our Kells family. Anyway, here are some of the inscriptions we found and maybe they will help someone. St. Peter's Church, Templeport Parish Full size flat stone with moss growing in every chiseled letter. Does anyone know if there are other cemeteries in Templeport or Tomregan Parish. We're searching for Robert Kells who died in 1805. Theda Kells Hoyt
The last address we have for our Irish relatives is Little Britain St. Near St. Michans church. What likely cemetery might a person be buried in? Or did they send bodies to other towns to be with relatives. This would be ca 1930. Is there an index for the closest cemetery? I'm searching Keogh. (John, Margaret, Tom, James, Fred, Edward, Edwin) Liz in US

Does anyone out there have any information about William Radford and Margaret Delaney from Wexford Town (my gggrandparents)? They were married 1817 in Wexford and had five children: Thomas (1818), Michael (1821), John (1824), Mary (1826), and Thomas (1828). Thomas, Michael & John all emigrated to the U.S. But any information on the parents (William and Margaret) and their one daughter Mary would be appreciated. Griffith's Valuation lists a William who was a shoemaker living in Maudlintown, Mulgannon, Wexford. It seems probable that he is the one I am researching, as his sons were also shoemakers in the U.S. Pls respond to me at Powermark@earthlink.net.
