Hi, I am trying to find a cemetery where Thomas McShane b. 1864 - d. XXXX  and Robert McShane b. 1866 - d. xxxx; sons of Hugh McShane and Mary Close McShane who resided in Ballyobegan, CO Down are buried. The only other possibility for their burials would be 'outside of Ireland' and for this  would have to possess more information, I understand. Hugh and Mary Close McShane are buried in the Lisbane Cemetery, he since 1891 and she only after 1901 where she was found living in the same house in Ballyobegan at age 70 in 1901 with her youngest daughter Catherine McShane Dorrian and three children: Hugh b. 1895; Mary b. 1897 and Maggie b. 1900.  Therefore her death occurred after 1901.  The McShane's appear to have scatterred like ripen wheat in a strong wind! Hello, Does anyone know of the cemetery in Causeway? Or have access to it? It may be attached to a church in the area but I am not sure of this. I am trying to locate the graves of my GGG Grandparents James DRURY and Mary MULQUIN. Hello All, My ancestor Samuel Smith is listed on the Griffith's Valuation at Keenaghan in Armagh. Does anyone know if these was a cemetery there? The children, born in Keenaghan in the 1820's-1830's seemed to all go to Charlemont Church in Loughgall, Armagh to be married. I didn't see a church or cemetery listed on Griffith's for Keenaghan. I would like to be able to find out where the people living in Keenaghan would have been buried in the hope of finding the burial place of our ancestors. According to Mitchell's Guide to Irish Churches and Graveyards there was no graveyard attached to the church in Keenaghan, the church was RC. The village of Loughgall had a graveyard but no church. The town of Charlemont had a Methodist church but no graveyard attached to it. In the civil parish of Loughgall there were ll churches and 5 graveyards as of mid -nineteenth c. The religious parishes and Civil parishes did not always co-incide so it would be wise to locate in the Griffith Valuation the nearest church of the right denomination and then look for the graveyard it would have used. Ryan's Irish Records and Sources for Family History identifies Cof I and Presbyterian churches for Loughgall and there is a present day RC church in Loughgall. If you contact me off list with your ancestors religion I can give you the dates for which the repective churches have records and the references for those graveyards in Loughgall CP listed by Mitchell. Hi Anne USA, The Church of Ireland Cemetery in Kilkeel, Co Down is "The Church of Christ", Newry St. Kilkeel, Newry, Down. There is a church office, which I'm afraid I don't have a telephone no. for, which is open Tues, Wed, Thurs. and Friday from 10a.m. to 12.00 noon. They hold records there from about 1940 onwards, the rest are in PRONI. The lady there is very helpful and I'm sure would do her best to help if you wrote to her. I am wondering if anyone has found a burial site for an Andrew Gilbride. My Great Grandmother Mary Gilbride at the age of 43 on April 15, 1908 came to the USA .Her ship manifest listed they resided in Swanlinbar, Ireland and that my Grandmother was born in Feramagh. An Aunt had found my Grandmother's marriage certificate and it had Andrew Gilbride on it for her Father. I am trying to find out what happened to my Great Grandfather and where he is buried .

Hi list; I sure do hope you can help. We have Rose Ann TALLY/ TULLY who was born around 1830 in Co.Antrim Ireland. She married John HATTON from Cullybecky, Co.Antrim Ireland in 1856, also in Co.Antrim. When they were married, her brother and his wife had a daughter and they named her Rose Ann TULLY. Now there are two of them. The problem is, we can't find either one of them anywhere. So here is what I am hoping you can do for me. Please take a look in the records any of you may have for a particular cemetery in Co.Antrim for them. Also missing is Charles TULLY/ TALLY. There are several of them. All related. Hello List, Is there someone who can tell me about cemeteries in Ballymoney/ Ballemoney? I'm wondering: is there more than one? If so, could you tell me the names of them? I am in search of the surnames of Mayberry and Dennis. William Mayberry and wife Bathesheba Dennis came to the US about 1730.
