    3. Hi Judith, What a great offer thank you. Wonder if there are any McAULEY, McCAULEY folk around the Saintfield area on your CD for Down? WILLIAM and SARAH (n McGibbon) came to Australia from Co Down in 1841. Have traced them to Lisdoonan townland, where also lived Rev Henry Simpson of the First Presbyterian Church, who signed their shipping records. Their Children were Mary Jane 22, Andrew 22, James, John, Wilson, Eliza, Hugh. Only have ages for the assisted immigrants and particularly interested in GGGrandmother Mary Jane and her parents WILLIAM and SARAH. Of course interested in any McAuleys if you have time. On a visit to Proni last year found a name in the Will Index of WILLIAM McAULEY 1828, Saintfield. This name the only information available, all records destroyed in the Fire.. That CD sounds just wonderful. Where does one get such a treasure? Thanks again for the kind offer.. 1. [IRL-CEMETERIES] Thanks - BEATTIE/WILLEY - We finally found the grave
    2. The Goannas
    3. Hi all, Just a quick note of thanks to everyone who replied with helpful suggestions last year when I was trying to locate the gravesite of my gggrandmother Ann(e) BEATTIE (nee WILLEY) in Brisbane. We finally found the records through the funeral director who is still in business and has all old records. Dad said they were very helpful. The reason we had had so much trouble is that in the records BEATTIE had been misspelt as BEASHIE. Council records have been corrected and Dad has located the site in the Bulimba Cemetary in Brisbane, Australia. Unfortunately there is no grave stone so we are no further along with ancestral info, but it ends a long search and we can rule a line under that one and move on to the next challenge. Thanks again to all who helped. Hopefully I'll be able to do the same for someone else oneday. Jenny in (mostly) sunny Central Queensland

    3. Along the same lines as Carole's kind offer, I have the Irish Parish Records CD for Antrim, Down and Louth including cemetery tombstone transcriptions and similar sources before civil registration which cover the period between 1538 to 1837. I would need surnames and variations to access the index with first names if available particularly for common surnames. Cheers Judith. ----- Original Message ----- From: <carol.barber@bctalk.net> To: <IRELAND-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 05, 2002 8:33 PM Subject: [IRL-CEMETERIES] Irish Strays > Hi > > I realise this is nothing to do with Cemetries but I have the 1841/51/61 census data for Worsbrough in the West Riding of Yorkshire and if anyone would like me to check for any names born in Ireland and possibly living there then let me know.
