I am trying to create an excel file, which of course is labeled Heastone Hunters What I would like to do is have everyone foreward either via the list or to me directly there request which would include these main subject I have listed below ( and any other details you feel is relevant to your search) What I would need is Surname Christian names if known County If known Time Frame And to that I will add everyones email address and it wont be going anywhere else but to my work diary. What happens is I often see something that is relevant to your Surname searches but if I had these details in a format that was easier for me to access, I could then remember to whom or what list it needs to go to.........my head cannot these days hold all the names I know people are seeking. If you do not wish to be placed in this search file, then that is fine, it is just to make my own work easier and to help those that I can, that I have decided to do this. Does anybody have, or have access to, the published lists of MIs at Deansgrange and Mount Jerome Cemeteries ? I am seeking to confirm which cemetery my ancestor, Cosmo William Gordon who was interred on the 30th May, 1915, was buried in as well as the inscription itself. Any help would be much appreciated!! Alistair Gordon London
I'd be grateful if SKS could check whatever records are available for the burial site of any CASSIDY and HINDS in County Meath, probably around Longwood and the Hill-of-Downs area. Here's all that I have: JOHN CASSIDY (c.1800-?) ANN CASSIDY (name unknown, b&d dates unknown) Both are my gggparents. Of any HINDS names, I have no information; but it's probably safe to say that the HINDS family was from the same area. There's a record of the Marriage of my ggparents, Michael Cassidy and Margaret Hinds, and the birth of one son in Longwood. The family emigrated to the U.S. c. 1868 to settle in Kingston, NY. I've been to Longwood and the Hill-of-Downs area, but couldn't find any info. Unfortunately, my time there was limited. However, I managed to locate the site of the original church (long gone!) and search the original cemetery (still there) in Hill-of-Downs. The cemetery was in poor condition. It was heavily overgrown and the few remaining headstones and iron crosses were illegible. I'm hoping that somebody, somewhere, might have access to some kind of burial records of both the CASSIDY and HINDS families that would help pin down the location of their origins. Thanks immensely! Ray

Well it existed in another variant in Dublin in 1690 De Mol- John -Baptister Dublin Esquire and perhaps another spelling that needs a closer look at would be Demoylan But the name was there as late as 1870 DEMOUL, Isabella Mary Birth Gender: Female Birth Date: 22 Apr 1870 Birthplace: Rathmines, Dub, Ire Recorded in: Dublin, Ireland Collection: Civil Registration Father: Henry DEMOUL Mother: Sarah PLUNKETT Source: FHL Film 101206 Dates: 1870 - 1873 DE'MOULE, Charles John Birth Gender: Male Birth Date: 6 Feb 1874 Birthplace: No 3 South City, City Of Dublin, Ire Recorded in: Dublin, Ireland Collection: Civil Registration Father: Henry DE'MOULE Mother: Sarah PLUNKETT Source: FHL Film 255894 Dates: 1873 - 1875 Unfortunately my sources do not cover 1906 but it sure looks like the name was rare yes but it was there but just a thought drop off the De and try a search for Moul/e as well as De'Moul CHeers Cara ----- Original Message ----- From: "pat williams" <demoul@idirect.com> To: <IRELAND-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 12:19 PM Subject: [IRL-CEMETERIES] De Moul > Hi Cara, > > I have not contacted you before but I am hoping there is a chance I may > get lucky with-Ireland Cemeteries. Hi Lorna, Many thanks for looking up De Moul on Ancestry. I am practically certain that Catherine Josephine De Moul must be my grandmother as she came to Liverpool from Ireland when her son, my father, was a boy. She married for a second time and he went under the name St. Leger. I know my grandmother was called Kate, so this probably came from Catherine. This is wonderful as this is the first information I have ever had of my grandmother or anyone else. Incidentally, she married for a third time. Again, thanks. Pat The second entry, Jane Elizabeth De Moul is my mother. ----- Original Message ----- From: <IRISHMAE@aol.com> To: <IRELAND-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 11:37 AM Subject: [IRL-CEMETERIES] Re: IRELAND-CEMETERIES-D Digest V05 #53 > Hi Pat, > > I just picked up the thread of your communication.
