    3. Just wondering if you have a Laurence RYAN in your research? He would be my gggrandfather, and I don't have a clue as to where in Ireland he was born. He immigrated to the US, and fathered my ggrandmother, who was born in 1860 in Ohio. It's a real longshot, but it doesn't hurt to ask. 3. I just had to say thank you for the great service that you are doing for so many people. I was in Ireland many years ago and wish that I had been smart enough to take pictures of the stones even though most of them were eroded. I was looking for Catholic Sullivans and McInernys in Doonbeg Co Clare and spent a lot of time in the cemetary there. Your material does not apply to my search but I had to say a thank you as I am sure many others will be able to make a "breakthrough" due to your work. 1. Keehan's in Clare &/or Galway
    2. mj
    3. Hi! I am new to the list and have been lurking. My family names of research are: Patrick KEEHAN, son of Patrick KEEHAN and Margaret Unknown. I have yet to find the document to confirm this but I believe my KEEHAN family came from Clare or Galway. Patrick KEEHAN, the son, was born 183? Other names associated with the family are: MALONEY (Catherine Maloney married Patrick Keehan & her brother was Patrick Maloney), MCNERLY (a cousin), MCINERNY (family member lived in apartment above store/tavern in Ireland with the license in the name of Michael McInerney). Are there any indexes for the Clare &/or Galway cemeteries? My Brick Walls web site: http://home.earthlink.net/~mjhuns/index.html My Trees, Photos, Obits, etc.: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/h/u/n/Mary-J-Hunsberger/ Thank you for any pointers, info, etc. Mary Jo Ocala, FL

    3. My great grandparents were married in the Methodist church in Aughnacloy Tyrone in 1863 I was lucky to get a marriage certificate earlier this year. they migrated to New Zealand in 1865 I am now hoping to find my gggrandparents Great Grandfather Alexander's parents were Theophilus and Margaret (Burnett) Alexander was born in Glendavagh in 1840 and they were still there when he married. He seems to have been able to buy pews in the church from 1860 to 1888 so we can say Theophilus died about then if this is indeed him attended church with a Robert and Thomas McCollum. Was one his father or brothers ?? Wish I knew. I don't know anything about Alexander's mother Margaret Burnett. I can't find any Burnett's in Tyrone. The McCollum's were farmers My great grandmothers family were Benjamin and Bessie ( McNeice) from Clogher and he was a Stone mason. and great grandmother also seems to have been born and married from Clogher so we assume they stayed around that area . If anyone has anything on these families or these names I would love to hear from you Also can someone tell me about Methodist graveyards I can't find one that actually says its Methodist everything else but Thanking you in advance Patricia McCollum New Zealand

    3. I did an online search for your Parish as I was concerned that the time frame you will be seeking a headstone within will be almost illegible to read, unless it has been well preserved and with luck I came across this brilliant site which, although its of the Blair family, does show how bad the stones are and its worthwhile read of the parish of Raloo, but as they are within the confines of a Church of Ireland graveyard your best place to locate anything on the family may be through archives held on these church yards, Now I am not sure if these will be located at RCB Dublin or PRONI --- But RCB you will have to be there bodily to do search and PRONI, I simply do not know. But take a look at this site to see what I mean about weathered stones http://users.cis.net/daver/bl_raloo.htm Cheers Cara Busy building that file on tombstones etc. be back soon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew D.
