I cannot find a listing of cemeteries in Cork City. I am researching LYONS family in 1871. Their church was St Fnbarrs South (RC) at that time but I do not know where they were buried at a later date in Cork City. If anyone can help me with Cork City cemetery names and locations, It would be most appreciated. Thank you Eileen Dillon Kightlinger

Would some kind soul please do a look-up of cemetery transcriptions for the following people and/or their relatives, or tell me where the transcriptions for Drumbo and Knocknagoney are held: (a) John Strong, of Drumbo, died before 1825. (b) Robert and Agnes Strong of Knocknagoney, died after 1825. (c) Hamilton Sloan of Knocknagoney, died after 1825. Each of these people were probably Presbyterian. -- ************************************** Name : PD & LE Strong Email : [email protected] Location: Blue Mountains Australia **************************************

Someone from Belfast told me that my McNeill ancestors would most likely be found in the Milltown Cemetery. I'm looking for a Thomas McNeill from Belfast in the 1890s. I believe he may have died somewhere between 1893 and 1895, although I'm not positive. I'd truly appreciate a lookup of his grave in this cemetery if anyone is doing this type of research. Thank you. Mary B.

Hi, I'm new to this so thanks for your patience. My G grandmother was Mary Ann McCarthy (born about 1829) and family says born in Hungry Hill. She was the daughter of Edmond (Edward) McCarthy and Margaret Donovan of Castletown Bere Peninsula. I have them listed in Derrimihan and in Curraduve where two children were born. I don't know how many cemeteries are in this area, but any information would be appreciated. Thanks from the U.S. Dorothy Leinhauser

My gr.gr.grandmother, Rose Ann HATTON nee TALLEY was born in Co.Antrim, Ireland. She married John HATTON from Corballey, Co.Antrim Ireland. John died sometime between 1874-1898. A cousin has found a Rose Ann HATTON who died 29 February 1904 at 35 Malcolmson St. Belfast. widow, 51, housekeeper, cause of death- apoplexy 3 days. Informant- Hugh HATTON, son, present at death. His address, 24 Theresa St., Belfast. The age for Rose is off by about 15-20 yrs.though. Another cousin went to Dublin and has looked up her death and there is nothing. So does this mean she didn't die in Ireland? If she did die in Ireland and the above is indeed my gr.gr.grandmother how do we find out where she is buried? Does anyone have any ideas? HELP!!!! Please....... Desperately seeking Rosie, Sharon Rogers WI./USA [email protected] __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! Hi, I am trying to find out where my family are buried. Its an unusual name so I am hopeful some one may have come across it some where. I have a little child Robert died 1891 Belfast, the family mostly seem to have been from the Maze area of Lisburn. Hillsbourgh. I know my great grandfather is buried at Anihilt (no headstone)in 1931 I was hopeful of further leads, but the minister says I need to look at the records at Belfast, or hire a research. So I am hopeing some one might just have come across the name some where. Many thanks Wendy. Australia.
