Dear Researchers, Has anyone heard of a Church called the "Hammil Church " in Co Antrim , possibly near Bushmills, near the Dry Arch, I believe that I may have family buried there.Does anyone know of a cemetery there? My gg grandparents were puported to be married in this church 1880 and then immigrated to Scotland 1901 with 8 children. My gg grandfather returned and died in the Ballycastle area. His name was Thomas Patton,(died 1914-1921 abt 68) his father was John Patton. Also her family are believed to be buried there as well .James Nevin and Jane White. 3. Hi All Since a recent visit to Dublin I've been collating records that I collected and now have on-line: Headstone Transcriptions from St Mary's Cemetery, Howth, Co. Dublin Extracts from various Trade Directories 1834 to 1886 References from the National Archives of Ireland for Howth & Baldoyle Howth & Baldoyle Dispensary Report 1831/32 There are also a number of miscellaneous records relating to the McKENNA/McKENNY family (which is my area of interest). I hope someone else finds some family. I'm currently working on extracts from the Trade Directories from 1886 to 1922 and they will be on-line in the near future. 3. Good Morning and After Noon to some, Old Business first, we have gone back to that old Irish hollow cemeteries that I found in the Upper part of Michigan. They do have some of it in a book and I am working on getting the book and then. I will pick up where they left off with the transcribing. When there was a stone that I could not read , I would take a leaf from right in the ground by the stone and rub it over the letters and then I could read it plane as day. I did not go to transcribe so I had not taken anything with me. and then the idea just popped into my head . anyway it worked. New business is there a book or does anyone know of a web site that has any of the Hannestown transcription on it. I think I found one but can remember. I am looking for John Hatton died before I think 1892 and his wife Rose Ann Tully/Tally Hatton Death Feb 29 1904. She dies in Belfast but we don't find her there. I think she my be in Hannestown Thanks Tina Marie [email protected] [email protected]

    3. The Glynns is published by the Glens of Antrim Historical Society who are at http://www.antrimhistory.net/ Sometimes I find that the URL gives me a can't be located page - so be patient and you will eventually get in. There is a contact address on the page - snail mail and e mail I think. I do know that I emailed them recently and have not had a response yet, however the email may have disappeared into the email black hole or else they just don't read their mail very often - that happens. however, if you write or email them then they should be able to help you re the contents of any of their journals or in the purchase of any reprints. For everything else you have listed here - you're best bet is to go to your nearest library and enquire as to inter-library loan. You may not have enough information on each individual entry here to be able to get a copy - but then you may. As far as I knwo the LDS libraries have copies of the fiches for the Antrim and Down Inscription Volumes, so possibnly they will be easily obtainable from other libraries. From what I've heard inter-library loan is as simple the world over as it is here in Ireland and in many parts of the world people don't have to pay for what they receive from public libraries. The only draw-back is the tiem it can take. The full Culfeightrim reference is as follows: Culfeightrin: Smyth-Wood, Patrick and Elizabeth. (1970).
