Hello my fellow Irishmen (and Irishwomen)! Well, as you know, I have had an interest in sharing my family information with you and have learned from some of you as well as the decendants of my great-uncle Bud (Francis)Charles Riley. I don't know if it's true about all of you, but on my side of the our family...we live up to the reputation for the love of story telling, my dad being Edward J. Riley, Jr., and he was known to his friends as 'short story Riley.' He was an incredible man, the friendliest and most well-read guy I ever knew. In a way, I guess this book is a tribute to him...and I mention him and my mom and my grandparents in the begining of 'Daydreams & Nightmares.'
