    2. Donald Dalmeny
    3. Hallo Joan, Many thanks for your email. Lord Dalmeny is a well documented title name given to the eldest son of the Earl of Rosebery but their family name is Primrose. Their are a large number of streets, houses, buildings and business ventures named Dalmeny in many different countries and Ancestry listed all of these in their padded pages. Unfortunately this does not help when you are trying to find genealogical links Also in the USA there is a largish Dalmeny family listed in the California/Oregan/Washington area. However we have established through contact with them that they are all descended from a Gordom Bruce Dalmeny who changed his name from Daniel Clemo in 1924. The earliest find was a Dalmeny family in the Ain department of the Rhone Alpine region of France. Listed there is a Claude Philibert Dalmeny born in 1795. No further record of him has been found. As a surname, the sightings are few and far between and I will be delighted to hear of any reference to the name. sincerely.....Don Dalmeny. > From: [email protected]> To: [email protected]> Date: Sa t, 29 Sep 2007 18:07:48 -0700> Subject: Re: [IRELAND] re.
