    3. Hi Mary Ellen, Try this contact e-mail regarding your query re Restoration of Moore Hall. [email protected] and other projects. I believe they have a newsletter. Also, http://doon.mayo-ireland.ie/moores.html is a detailed historical and genealogical website by Kevin COYNE, apparently a relative of the MOOREs. Perhaps he can answer your question. Nice photographs of Moore Hall and the adjacent area with interesting comments at the following website by a recent visitor, found by "googling" the phrase A Trip to Ballinrobe, 2006 or PetersPioneers. If there is a viable e-mail at the website, try contacting him for information and impressions. Apparently, his ancestors have a connection to that general area. Found one reference to an apparent recent renovation, that of a Protestant Church in Belmullet. http://www.cara.news.freeservers.com/index_3.html The Protestant Church in Belmullet. The church, built in Famine times (1843) was in use until the 1980's. Since then it has fallen into disrepair. A local group was formed recently to undertake the refurbishment of this beautiful building with the purpose of opening it as a cutural centre which would be of benefit to the community. Rita Nolan, the local author and historian and Marianne from Iorras Domhnann told us about the historical background of the church and showed us the beautiful granite stonework in the building.
