    3. Ed, How long ago did you write to Sligo Library? I'm tempted to do that. However my Patrick SHANNON was born there about 1795 and I wonder if church records go back that far? And I don't know where in Sligo. I have his marriage record in 1826 in Belfast......St Patrick's RC. They moved to NY in 1827.
